Dear BKK

We have had a difficult year in many senses. So we hope that the following announcement brings excitement towards the end of the year. We have our British Kata and Clicker event merged this year to create the Hanshi Cup in honour of our beloved founder and leader who passed away earlier this year.

The event is to return to one of Hanshi original dojos and the BKK original tournament location Crystal Palace national sports centre. We have not had a tournament at Crystal Palace since 2006. I’m sure many of us are excited to return to this infamous arena where we had so many fond memories with Hanshi and the BKK together.

Date : 27th November 2021

Venue : Crystal Palace National Sports Centre,

Ledrington Road,

Crystal Palace,

London,

SE19 2BB.

More information is to follow. With entry forms going up on the website along with fees, checkin times and schedule for the tournament running itself.

Please look to get your entries in as soon as possible to this great event - our first event since the British Kata back in 2020.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Osu

41st British Open/ 9th Cup of Europe 2017

This iconic event is one of the most long standing knockdown tournaments in the world.
In 2016 we had over 160 participating fighters from 23 countries.

The British Karate Kyokushinkai (BKK) invite you, and fighters from across the world  to enter our tournament.

Last year saw multiple World and European Champions from a number of organisations looking for the British Open (Cup of Europe) title.  This year will be just as exciting.
